Though this might look like just another lineart, this pic actually represents a major leap forward in my advancement as an artist. For while I've managed to accomplish a good deal using Photoshop Elements and figured out some tricks for accomplishing some smooth lineart, it's always been the fine details that have been brutally difficult and time consuming to get down.
But this picture represents two major experiments of mine brought to fruition; the first of capturing human anatomy more accurately, and of getting down those fine details in a relatively short amount of time. And so, after working off and on on this project for less than two days, I've made to go from scratch to this in that time period. Which is nothing short of a record for me.
Anyway, I hope everyone will let me know what they think of the results of my experimentation.
On a side note, I think I've also figured out why Marvel first created Spider-Man's black costume; drawing out all those webs is brutally time-consuming. I don't think I would have even attempted to do so before I got my hands on this new software.
