Okay, I've been taking a keen interest in the Rebuild of Evangelion movies so far. And I won't deny that I've taken a liking to Mari Illustrious Makinami. Too much of a liking, according to some people. So naturally, I've been keeping track of updates regarding these movies, if only to get more inspiration and information for my stories.
However, I recently learned something about Rebuild 3.0, and...well, it looks like it's official. Anno had lost it. Big time.
Now, I won't spoil things for those of you who haven't seen what I've seen. I'll just say that, as of this moment, I'm banging my head, trying to make sense of what Anno's cooking up this time.
Of course, there are those who would say that trying to make sense of anything Evangelion is in and of itself an exercise in futility.
And on a side note, Toji Suzuhara's little sister has finally been named. Which, naturally enough, results in my perfectionist tendencies kicking me in the butt, wanting me to spend some time making the needed corrections in my stories.
Argh...sometimes, I think I'm trying too hard...

Growth Drive Poll Winners!
Alright, then! I hereby declare that the Growth Drive Polling to be officially closed! And here are the lucky five finalists for the big event! Hinata Hyuga (Naruto) with 45 votes. Tsunade Senju (Naruto) with 41 votes. Power Girl (DC Comics) with 31 votes. Android 18 (Dragon Ball) with 28 votes. Tsuyu Asui (My Hero Academia) with 28 votes. Bear in mind that I've got special bonuses planned and I hope to have some of the girls that didn't quite make it put in some cameos as well. But for now, I have to get going on the actual setup for the drive proper. Until then!
Masters of the Universe Revelations Trailer
Well, it's finally here. The trailer for the new Netflix series, an official sequel to Filmation's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, has finally dropped. The art looks excellent. The animation exquisite. I didn't hear much voice acting, but Mark Hamill as Skeletor is just perfect. But as much as the little boy inside of me wants to go squeee and be excited and all that...I have been burned pretty badly by some recent reboots, sequels, and so on. Even ones that started out excellent but then dropped the ball massively by trying to pander to a toxic fanbase. So after watching this trailer, all I can do is cross my fingers and basically go, "Please let it be good, please let it be good, PLEEEEASE let it be good!"

Okay! Several days have passed since I launched the Growth Drive Polls, and we're seeing some clear leaders! Planning Growth Drive
I've got a real life problem that demands that I have money to throw at it. My van died a while back, the city is demanding I deal with it, and to be honest, I think it would just be better to purchase a decent used vehicle. Problem is, that takes money (of course). So I've decided to launch a growth drive in order to bring in some extra cash to help pay for it. So here's how this will work, I'm giving all of you both here and on Patreon a chance to select some of your favorite ladies that you would like to see pumped up both in terms of muscle, breasts, and height. Once that's done, I'll be holding a ballot so we can see which "lucky" three will get pumped up for the final drive. So feel free to choose whichever lady you'd like. Looking forward to seeing your suggestions. Yeah, Mari's nice (sent you a Note with some ideas for her as the Cap, BTW. I like her in that role a whole lot-and if she doesn't makes sense, well, then let's make it make sense).
As well.... 'Sakura' is her official name, and it's not a bad name-just gives me flashes to 'Card Captors' or 'Naruto'. I prefer the fanon names for her-Mari, Chijo, etc. They just.... sound better.
I say, screw it-your fic, your rules. She started with a different name, keep it-on some other fic in the future, you can name her 'Sakura'.
Maybe even have her say something about how... 'generic' the name is.
As for the movie: this seriously falls under 'YMMV' and maybe even as far as 'Fanon Discontinuity' (and, heck, I'd like to see how they'll try and fix THIS in any 'Super Robot Wars' game).
Fanfic fodder, nevertheless. Just cut and paste the parts that are interesting and leave behind the ones that are not (currently thinking of an alt SWOE idea (which probably won't go from the idea (And some art) stage, but it's the way I roll-I like to try to be elaborate) which at least uses the 'Yui Ikari's maiden name was Ayanami' idea, if nothing else).
